Winery Review: This ruby colored wine has aromas of raspberry, cherry and a hint of vanilla. Flavors of cherry and plum lead to a soft velvety finish. This wine can be enjoyed by itself. It is also an excellent accomplishment with appetizers and main courses. This wine goes well with Brie, goat cheese and smoked salmon, lamb shanks and pork tenderloin.
My Review: The wine has a particular smell, which comes off as a little fruity. Once tasted, the flavors of berries speak out that please the palate. There is also a hint of spice with the taste of berries. The wine leaves the mouth a little dry after consuming it.
I did not consume any food with this wine.
